We are in awe and gratitude for supporters like you, who helped free and protect nearly 120 children this fiscal year. I cannot thank you enough. Your generous support for our Iraq-led organization to help orphaned children has saved these children from the nightmare of forced servitude, exploitation, abuse, and neglect.

A total of 195 children identified as being at risk of falling into child theft and/or abuse were provided with protection services. Of these, eight children—six girls and two boys—were freed from harmful situations.

Legal assistance was provided to two girls—at their request—so they could seek justice against those who harmed them. Fifty-seven children—37 girls and twenty boys—were found living in households where the risk of violence was a significant concern.

Efforts to mitigate this risk included parental education and ongoing follow-up. As a result of these interventions, child protection groups reported that the risk of violence in these families no longer existed.
