Colombian farmers are leaving their farms for the city due to the lack of opportunities to market their products. In this project through Ofercampo, Parquesoft seeks to facilitate the commercialization of its products, online, improving the commercialization channels and increasing the profits of the different actors through the purchase and sale of agricultural products, supplies and services, benefiting their families and community and strengthening the Colombian countryside.
farmers in Colombia are going through a bad time, because the food grown is not taking the respective value that it deserves. The lack of credit, free trade and degrading competition that different countries have, make the local prices of the products that are produced by farmers tend to be very low, which has allowed the reduction of protection to the farmer's economy at a time when commodity prices have fallen historically, thus preventing small farmers from competing in large markets
The Ofercampo web platform allows the Colombian farmer to sell their products directly, without intermediaries, avoids the high costs of the products, damages when being transported, high transport costs, in addition to improving their economic problems, because by avoiding intermediaries they can obtain profitability of their products.
The project will support 100 farmers, helping them to market their products, which will allow them to directly buy and sell products from the Colombian countryside. If the farmer improves his quality of life, the rural and urban areas of Colombia and the world will be able to continue acquiring food brought directly from the field.
