The main objective of the project is to initiate and involve the community in advocating and supporting the education of orphans and vulnerable children by increasing the enrollment of students in schools, to increase access to quality and affordable education and improve the illiteracy level in Mayuge District thereby improving the living conditions of the population. Hence,the need to support the construction four classrooms through donations from both the local and international community.
Blessed Echoes Children Alliance operates a school in very small rented buildings and the number of children keeps raising each day and would like to have its own. Despite the government program of Universal Pupil Education where education has been declared free, the number of constructed schools is very minimal or non existent at all and most schools are under tree shades and others just stay home. We would like to acquire land and construct a permanent school to serve the community in the area
The construction of the school in this area will provide a permanent shelter for the children whose life studying under tree has been at risk. The number of school going children under five years are very many and cannot walk long distances hence the project will be very beneficial to the improvement of both the education and the literacy level in the region which has been very low. The classrooms will save the children from being exposed to rain and sunshine during class sessions in the school
The construction of the classrooms will steadily increase the school enrollment annually and more children will be interested to attend school. The project will be a very good example to the community where they will be sensitized to volunteer to participate in the planning of constructing more classrooms by voluntarily donating towards the project.This will keep the project self sustaining as many children will be enrolling to the school in the future thereby raising the standard of living
