HELP COVID 19 VICTIMS IN QUARANTINE CENTERS NEEDS

Summary

The project aims at helping unable suspected covid 19 victims in quarantine with unmet needs in central region.Many are from poor families others are the deportees from other countries who can not effort selected quarantine hotels. They will be provided with nutritious food to boast their immune,be given materials to sleep on well, provide counseling to get rid of stress. create awareness to the community the danger of stigmatization and later will be given transport after being discharged.

Challenge

COvid 19 entered Uganda in early march this year, brought challenges of lock down for months ,closure of all institutions of learning poverty has.increased in the community and the number of covid victims is increasing day by day.All identified victims are put in quarantine centers for isolation as measure to stop further spread of covid 19 .These center are lacking things yet the government haven't provided .People in centers are staving,sleeping on the mats.spend a day without meals

Solution

When these covid 19 people in quarantine centers are assisted in feedings ,sleeping materials and with transport when going back,The materials will be left to the center for other patients to use, the feeding will boast their immune to recover soon. The community will sensitized to avoid stigmatization the covid patients Due the increasing number of patients in all corners of the country, medical facilities should be facilitated with materials not to depend on the government.

Long-Term Impact

Covid 19 is the virus that we are going to stay with,that implies all the materials will also help others.This will serve as an example to care and love others in problems. The organization will strive to protect all the materials will be handed over to the local authorities when the covid period expires. The patients who were discharged will praise love and care they have received during the quarantine period, we hope will also do the same in their places.
