Help Women by Providing Tailoring Training

Thanking you for your sponsorship of Vocational Training in Tailoring Project for the empowerment of women & girls. This initiative created for economically underprivileged women through GlobalGiving.

Destitute women & girls have been learning and some of them started their micro enterprise in tailoring & embroidery and stitching the different type of blouses, stitching children’s uniforms. With this they are able to earn Rs.5000/month as supplementary income to add for their family. With some of the additional income they have celebrated Dussehra and Diwali festivals which are very important in India as tradition. We focus on livelihood programs for women and girls to create sustainable livelihoods, building up self confidence among them. 17 years ago, started the self-employment training programs for women and made a difference in many lives of women and communities.

They are able to fulfill all their needs of children education and ration for their family and other needs. Children are studying good with this timely support. We have been conducting six months skills training in fashion designing courses for the women belongs to backward sections in Mandlem Village & Praja Nagar through teaching classes, providing raw material like threads, needles, clothes, scissors, etc. In each batch, course completion certificate and conducting orientation course on marketing skills, escort services to avail the loans from the financial institutions, banks. With your timely sponsorships we are able to organize and manage this kind of job oriented skillful trainings for the women and girls.
