Respected Donors
Warm greetings from SERUDS!
We sincerely thank you for your generous support toward our noble cause of empowering economically disadvantaged women and girls. Your contributions have helped us create meaningful livelihood opportunities and build confidence among Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
Since 2003, SERUDS has been conducting self-employment and skill training programs for poor women and girls from rural and backward areas. These programs have transformed the lives of many families by providing them with sustainable sources of income and renewed self-confidence. We continuously motivate women about the importance of education and financial independence for their families.
Through our fashion designing and tailoring courses, many women have started micro-enterprises such as tailoring, embroidery, blouse stitching, zari work, and school uniform production. On average, each woman earns about 8,000 per month, which helps them support their children’s education and meet family needs.
Each training batch includes 25 women and girls who receive six months of skill training in tailoring and fashion design at Mandlem Village and Praja Nagar. They are provided with raw materials such as threads, cloth, needles, and scissors, and upon completion, receive a course completion certificate. We also conduct sessions on marketing skills and guide them in accessing loans from financial institutions to start their own businesses.
Your valuable support makes all this possible. Thank you for sponsoring fashion designing courses and livelihood opportunities for women and girls, enabling them to lead dignified and self-reliant lives.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Team SERUDS India
