Respected Donors,
Warm greetings from SERUDS Charity!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support of our Vocational Training in Tailoring Project—an initiative that empowers economically disadvantaged women and girls with valuable skills for self-reliance. Your generous contributions through the GlobalGiving Foundation, USA is helping transform lives, one stitch at a time.
SERUDS has been dedicated to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women. Through our tailoring and fashion design training programs, women from marginalized communities gain hands-on skills, confidence, and the ability to earn a steady income.
Many participants have already started small tailoring units, stitching blouses, school uniforms, and intricate saree designs. On average, each woman earns around 5,500 per month—an income that helps them support their families and ensure their children’s education. With financial stability, their households are witnessing positive change and renewed hope.
At our training centers in Mandlem Village and Praja Nagar, women undergo a six-month structured program that includes practical tailoring lessons, access to materials such as threads, fabrics, and scissors, and guidance on marketing and entrepreneurship. Upon completion, participants receive certificates and orientation sessions that help them access microloans and set up small businesses.
This initiative is not only building professional skills but also restoring dignity and independence among women who were once denied opportunities.
Your generosity continues to drive this mission forward, empowering women to stand on their own feet and lead a life of respect and purpose.
With sincere gratitude,
Team SERUDS Charity
