Help Women by Providing Tailoring Training

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support toward the upliftment of economically destitute women through GlobalGiving, a USA tax-deductible nonprofit platform. Your contribution continues to bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to women who struggle for basic livelihood.

For the past 17 years, SERUDS has been dedicated to women empowerment, recognizing the vital role women play in building stronger families and communities. Through our ongoing project, we focus on creating sustainable livelihoods, enhancing self-confidence, and supporting Self Help Group women leaders with job-oriented skills.

Thanks to your support, poor women and adolescent girls have successfully started micro-enterprises in:

• Fashion designing

• Blouse and garment stitching

• Zari work on sarees

• Stitching school uniforms

With these skills, women now earn an additional 4,500 per month, helping them meet essential family needs and support their children's education—protecting them from the risk of child labour.

Every six months, SERUDS conducts comprehensive skill development training in fashion designing, which includes:

• High-quality teaching sessions

• Raw materials such as threads, needles, fabrics, scissors, etc.

• Course completion certificates

• Orientation on marketing and entrepreneurship

These initiatives have transformed the lives of women who once had no means of livelihood. Today, they stand with confidence, independence, and the ability to support their families with dignity.

We are proud that GlobalGiving recognized our impact and selected our “Livelihood Support for Destitute Women” project for their Project of the Month Club—an achievement made possible only because of your kindness and trust in our work.
