Greetings from SERUDS
In our target area, Budhavarapeta urban slum many unfortunate, economically deprived women are lacking with skills and unskilled labour struggling a lot with out income sources. They are not able to get job placements because of illeterate as well unskilled. SERUDS has identified such women and providing skills training in fashion desiging, zari work, embroidery work for 25 such deprived women in a batch for 6months.
The women and adolescent girls has been identified by our volunteers and staff from different locations of Kurnool Town. The skilled trainer conducting classes for teaching the skills, practical demonstration, cutting, mesurements and sizes etc to these women and girls.
Now with this skills training the women and girls got confidence and able to earn themselves by stiching blouses, inner wear, uniforms, petty coats, dresses, skirts, panjabi dresses related to women products. The customers also satisfying for timely delivery.
With this skills training in fashion desiging the women are able to send their children to the school regularly and feeding the family. The women are able to support educational needs to the children in time. Children are showing enthusiasm to go to the school and participate in the sports and games with nutritious diet. We are able to see happiness on women faces and their indirect families.
