With this project the Economically disadvantaged women are able to learn vocationsl skills through Tailoring & Embroidery program. Deprived women are so happy for this golden opportunity with individuals support like you through SERUDS Charitable Organization. In this 6months training program 10 women are able to learn vocational skills in Tailoring & embroidery for their livelihood opportunities. Now the women are bold and confident, self reliant. The women are belongs to very poor family background and living in slums. Provided sewing machines to the trained deprived women. Here is the beneficiary details of who received the sewing machine among 10 women.
Laxmi aged about 29yrs, W/o.Narsappa is the resident of of Budhavarapeta urban slum of Kurnool Municipal Corporation. Her parents are Mr.Narasimhulu and Ms.Devi. She belongs to Scheduled Caste Mala Community. Her mother works as daily wage labour Kurnool Market Yard. She earns Rs.120/- per day depends on the seasonal. She got married with Narsappa in Kurnool, who works as daily wage labour in offset printing press. By seeing his financial constraints, she would like to earn on herself by doing job and to add as supplementary income to her husband. She learnt that SERUDS is running Vocational skills training centre for the livelihood support. She approached SERUDS Administrator to request to join in the Skill development training centre.
She joined the course and learning the training with interest and enthusiasm. This training period is designed for 6 months. She has been provided with sewing machine donated by individuals through GlobalGiving Nonprofit Organization. After completion of 6months of the training and getting the experience she desire to start self employment unit and earn income by herself. Now she and her family are very happy for this kind gesture and expressed sincere gratitude.
