This project creates sustainable livelihoods through income generation programs by conducting vocational skills training for the deprived poor women. As part of our regular programs in our project locations we are identifying many of women are idle lack of awareness, poverty, unskills, illeterate, slavery at the landlord houses. We are targetting these women and girls and creating awareness among them through motivational classes and providing skills training in Tailoring and Embroidery.
In this 6 months vocational skills training program, the skilled trainer is teaching theory classes as well practicals for these 20 women and girls in Budhavarapeta Slum. 5 sewing machines and one embroidery machines are kept in the training hall and women and girls are able to stitch clothes like uniforms, blouses, inner wear, punjabi dresses, new branded items, saree falls, and able to earn Rs.150 per month by getting orders from near by houses.
With your kind support only we are able to provide this skills training program for the women girls in time with out any hurdles. Women and girls are very happy for this kind gesture and expressed sincere gratitude.
