Dear Donor,

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to equip 9 young women and men with practical vocational skills that are opening doors to employment and self-reliance across rural Uganda. Many participants entered the program with determination but very limited opportunities to secure meaningful work or generate a stable income.

Your support enabled Development Alert to provide hands-on vocational training, entrepreneurship coaching, life skills education, and mentorship. Participants learned valuable technical skills while also gaining confidence in communication, financial planning, customer service, and business management.

Since completing the training, many graduates have begun offering services within their communities or have started small businesses that provide income for themselves and their families. Others have secured employment using the practical skills they acquired. These achievements are helping reduce unemployment while strengthening local economies.

Beyond economic benefits, the program has inspired hope among young people who once believed they had few opportunities to succeed. They are now becoming role models, encouraging other youth to pursue education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship.
