Help Educate 40 Bright Girls in Lesotho

I would like to say a big thank-you to you all. Thank you for all you do to make sure the girls finish high school and reach for the sky in their quest for brighter futures. 

A week ago, on #GivingTuesday, you joined us in the campaign which saw us raise $3356, inclusive of matching funds from GlobalGiving. As always, you were not only generous in your own giving, but you helped spread the word and we saw more people join the campaign too. As a result, we raised more this #GivingTuesday than ever before. This bears testimony to your caring and compassion in a year that has been quite a challenge for everyone because of the pandemic. The funds raised will enable our 40 girls to remain in school one more year. 

In a previous conversation, I mentioned that some of our former beneficiaries are now taking a leaf out of your book and joining in the giving campaigns too. Because of you, Jay was able to finish high school and go on to medical school. She is now a qualified doctor, working in a local hospital. She told me she is now able to support her parents and other members of her community. This year she was able to make a donation during one of our campaigns. This is what she said about being in a position to donate: 

I am happy that I was able to make a small donation to support Educare Fund. I hope to continue to share the little that I have with Educare Fund and make a difference to another girl's life. 

Because of you, in addition to working to improve the lives of her immediate family, Jay also helps some of her patients pay for their medical treatment when they are unable to afford the fees. Through your generosity, you have sown a seed of kindness and compassion. Jay is not the only one of our former beneficiaries to show this quality.
