Our Community Canteens have been working hard this year to bring people together through food while saving precious food from landfill. In the last quarter alone, we have achieved:
Total for the Quarter: 1,227 guests served and 1,568 kg of food waste saved. That's 3681 plates of food!
And that’s not including what we’ve got coming up in December!
Christmas Plans:
This festive season, Be Enriched is working to serve over 2,700 meals and provide warmth and companionship to over 300 people in South London. We’ll continue running our Community Canteens every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, serving special Christmas meals. Our Food Bus will also be active until Christmas Eve, offering fresh, healthy food to those in need.
Why Your Support Matters:
The cost-of-living crisis means that many families are struggling to make ends meet, with 1 in 10 children going to bed hungry this Christmas. Be Enriched is on a mission to ensure no one in South London goes hungry or spends the holidays alone.
