We have had an incredible few months at Love Story. Every week brings new excitement as our different projects are on the go. Have a look below to see what we've been up to:
Earlier this year we launched our Love Sandwiches project and we are so excited to see all the momentum it has gained. The hunger crisis in the Eastern Cape is mainly affecting children and this project is an answer to their cries. Every week we provide sandwiches to creches in underprivileged areas around our city, and this is only through the your support, as well as some schools, churches and companies that have jumped on board. To date we have been able to distribute over 20 000 sandwiches!
We continue to provide food and gas to our soup kitchens on a weekly basis, for them to be able to cook for those in need in their communities. Through our feeding schemes we have been able to distribute over 2,3 million meals since the beginning of Lockdown last year.
