We have organized this project to feed, care and home the hundreds of rescued cats and dogs in the Accra metropolitan area of Ghana. These homeless and abandoned cats and dogs are at the mercy of town council dog hunters who trap them to be euthanized, poison them or are trapped and eaten as food by certain members of society. There are no rescues and shelters in Ghana to protect stray animals. We offer a temporal and permanent home to rescued animals that are injured who need a bearable life.

We seek to offer help seek foster or permanent homes for abandoned and mistreated animals in and around the Accra and surrounding areas. The wellbeing of rescued animals is at the forefront of what we are working towards. Our activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps community members to take part in this honourable call to help animals. We seek to reduce the suffering of stray cats and dogs and advocate for humane behaviour by providing rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary to strays.
Our efforts will reduce the suffering of hundreds of stray cats and dogs. Hundreds of abandoned, neglected and injured dogs and cats will be rehabilitated and housed. We will medically rehabilitate all rescued dogs and cats, develop low-cost spay-neuter and vaccination programs, provide education and awareness of animal welfare. The last but not the least is to help reduce the incidence of rabies, which is a dangerous zoonosis disease killing over 30 people in Ghana yearly.
This project has provided additional documentation in a DOCX file (projdoc.docx).
