Ukrainian Cancer Relief Program: Delivering Hope and Life-Saving Care
Over the past months, Mission Kharkiv’s Ukrainian Cancer Relief Program has continued to deliver critical support to cancer patients across Ukraine, despite the immense challenges posed by the ongoing conflict. By the end of December 2024, 1,152 distributions of medications had been completed, providing essential treatment to patients in regions including Kharkiv, Lviv, and Dnipropetrovsk. For patients in more remote areas, we utilized postal services to ensure medications reached every corner of Ukraine, leaving no one behind.
Our program supports major medical institutions, including the National Cancer Institute, Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after Sklifosovsky, and City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 16 of the Kharkiv City Council, among others. These deliveries are more than just supplies; they are lifelines for patients fighting cancer amidst crisis.
One of our beneficiaries shared: “When my family fled the frontlines, I thought my battle against cancer was over. Mission Kharkiv’s deliveries of life-saving medications gave me a second chance. I can keep fighting because of your support.”
This program’s success is only possible because of your generosity. Every dollar has translated into hope, resilience, and recovery for thousands of patients.
