Ukraine Cancer Relief: Aid for War's Forgotten

Despite the ongoing war and the immense strain it places on Ukraine’s healthcare system, Mission Kharkiv continues to ensure that cancer patients do not have to interrupt their treatment.
Through the Ukraine Cancer Relief program, we work every day to deliver essential oncology medications to people who urgently need them.

In February 2026, our team distributed 1 095 units of life-saving cancer medications directly to patients. In total, 485 medication distributions were carried out, helping individuals continue their treatment even in the midst of uncertainty and displacement.
Among those supported this month were 200 women and 269 men, people who are not only facing cancer but also the daily realities of living in a country at war.

To make treatment accessible, we organized medication distribution in several cities where patients are able to receive support safely.

War has disrupted supply chains, increased financial hardship, and made access to oncology care far more difficult.
By providing these medicines free of charge, we help ensure that patients can keep fighting their illness without losing precious time.

Each package delivered represents more than medicine  it represents hope, resilience, and the possibility of recovery.
