We have received reports on our last year's washable sanitary towels distribution and it's amazing! The girls are very grateful and the teachers have reported that there were no cases of absentees! Isn't that amazing?
Every end of the month there are always cases where girls will stay at home due to lack of sanitary towels. others end up staying for more than a month because of the shame that comes with this situation. We gave out more than 200 kits and we are happy that they have made a difference in the lives of these girls. What we dont talk about is a big problem for many high school-going girls.
We are grateful for all who have donated towards this program. Although we haven't received any donations this year, we are determined that will meet our goal. We have new students in our partner schools and we are looking forward to visiting and making distributions to several hundreds of students. We are making more kits and we will keep you updated.
