What an incredible moment it has been, a moment of making a real, lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable girls.
It’s often hard to explain just how deeply something as simple as access to sanitary pads can impact a girl’s education. But it’s true, many girls are forced to stay home during their periods because they lack basic menstrual products. This is a heartbreaking reality, but thanks to your support, we are changing that.
Through our menstrual hygiene program, we reached 1,000 girls across three different schools this year. Although we didn’t have new high school entrants due to the ongoing transition in the education system, we made it a priority to reach schools that had not yet received our reusable sanitary kits, and the response was overwhelming.
The joy on the girls’ faces said it all. Their smiles, their gratitude, and their excitement spoke volumes. Each girl received a reusable sanitary kit and four pairs of underwear. These kits are designed to last for up to four years, enabling the girls to stay in school with dignity and without interruption during their periods.
Words cannot fully express how grateful the girls were. Many simply had no words, only heartfelt smiles and visible relief. Your support has given them more than just a product; you’ve given them confidence, comfort, and the chance to pursue their education without fear or shame.
What you’re doing may seem small, but the impact is extraordinary. You are helping rewrite the future for these girls, one kit, one smile, one school day at a time.
From all of us, and especially from the girls, thank you for believing in their potential.
