Dear friends and supporters,
We reach out to share the recent progress and achievements of the Fundación Niños de Guantaro – Mensajeros de la Paz. Your support has been key to continuing our work for the integral development of the children and youth in our community. Today, we want to tell you about the activities we have carried out and express how much we value your commitment.
In our daily efforts, we prioritize active and meaningful learning. Recently, the children enjoyed a special activity: preparing a delicious cake. This workshop allowed them to learn through symbolic play, imitating roles and situations from adult life. In addition to fostering creativity and teamwork, activities like this strengthen motor, cognitive, and emotional skills.
Our commitment is to provide holistic development that encompasses all dimensions of the human being:
- Physical: incorporating sports into their daily routines.
- Cognitive: designing educational activities and innovative workshops.
- Social: promoting coexistence and teamwork.
- Emotional and spiritual: strengthening values and self-esteem in every shared experience.
All of this has been made possible thanks to the support of the Fundación Crecer Jugando and the campaign "Un Juguete, Una Ilusión", which provided us with educational toys that open up endless possibilities for learning through play. We also want to thank the AECID and the Embassy of Spain in Honduras for allowing us to participate in the celebration of the Día del Cooperante in Tegucigalpa, a space to share our experiences and strengthen alliances with other organizations.
