Title: Alkhidmat Distributes Qurbani Meat & Hot Meals to Over 3,000 People at Central Jail Rawalpindi

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation distributed Qurbani meat and freshly cooked hot meals to more than 3,000 people at Central Jail Rawalpindi. The initiative was carried out as part of Alkhidmat’s Qurbani activities, extending the spirit of Eid and ensuring that people within the prison community were included in this occasion of sharing and compassion.

Story / Update

As part of its Qurbani programme, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan organized the distribution of Qurbani meat and freshly prepared hot meals at Central Jail Rawalpindi, reaching more than 3,000 people.

Qurbani is not only an act of sacrifice but also an opportunity to share food, dignity, and happiness with people from different segments of society. Recognizing that prison communities can often remain beyond the reach of mainstream charitable activities, Alkhidmat extended its Qurbani initiative to Central Jail Rawalpindi.

Qurbani meat was distributed alongside freshly cooked hot meals, providing nutritious food and allowing beneficiaries to share in the spirit of Eid.

Through initiatives like this, Alkhidmat continues to reach underserved and often overlooked communities, ensuring that the values of compassion, inclusion, dignity, and sharing remain at the heart of its humanitarian work.

Title: Alkhidmat Begins Qurbani 2026 Livestock Procurement for Thousands of Deserving Families

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has officially started the procurement of healthy sacrificial animals for its Qurbani Fi Sabeelillah 2026 campaign, with the support of generous donors and well-wishers.

This year, Alkhidmat aims to perform Qurbani of 5,000 cows and 3,000 goats, enabling millions of deserving individuals and vulnerable families across Pakistan to share in the joy of Eid-ul-Adha.

Story / Update

Eid-ul-Adha is a time of sacrifice, compassion, and sharing blessings with those in need. However, for many underprivileged families across Pakistan, access to meat during Eid remains rare due to financial hardships and rising inflation.

To ensure deserving families can celebrate Eid with dignity, Alkhidmat Foundation has begun the process of purchasing healthy and high-quality sacrificial animals for its Qurbani Fi Sabeelillah 2026 campaign. The procurement is being carried out carefully to ensure animals meet health and quality standards before distribution and sacrifice.

With the support of donors and partners, Alkhidmat plans to perform Qurbani of 5,000 cows and 3,000 goats this year. The meat will be distributed among vulnerable communities, including widows, orphans, daily wage workers, and families affected by poverty and disasters.

Alkhidmat Foundation organized a special Iftar dinner for 150 orphaned children in Lahore, providing them with a warm meal and a joyful Ramadan experience. This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s Ramadan activities, with more Iftar dinners planned in different cities to reach orphaned children across Pakistan.

Ramadan is a time of compassion, sharing, and togetherness. For orphaned children, such moments of care and inclusion are especially meaningful, helping them feel valued and supported.

To create a memorable and uplifting experience, Alkhidmat Foundation arranged an Iftar dinner in Lahore, where 150 orphans gathered to break their fast in a warm and caring environment. The children enjoyed nutritious food, shared smiles, and experienced the spirit of Ramadan through togetherness and love.

Caregivers and volunteers ensured a welcoming atmosphere, emphasizing dignity, joy, and emotional well-being. Building on this initiative, Alkhidmat plans to organize similar Iftar dinners in multiple cities, extending the blessings of Ramadan to more orphaned children nationwide.
