Predators operate in digital shadows. Children remain their primary targets. In Thailand, research shows that 9% of teenagers face online sexual abuse. Most cases stay hidden in silence. This quarter, LIFT broke that silence. Using advanced technology like Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Digital Forensics, our team turned data into actionable evidence for law enforcement.
We developed and submitted 43 investigative reports to authorities. We formally opened 11 new cases with the police. Because of these quick tactical actions, 5 offenders were arrested, and 23 child survivors were successfully identified and removed from harm. Globally, a massive 90% "conviction gap" exists because victims lack support during terrifying trials. LIFT changes this. Our social workers are embedded at every step—from initial rescue through court trials to final community reintegration. This quarter, we supported 52 survivors across their needs. Two offenders were convicted, receiving a total of 29 years in prison, and courts ordered 780,000 THB in compensation. Beyond casework, we partnered with Thammasat University to validate the Psychosocial Assessment Report (PSA). This tool translates emotional trauma into official legal evidence, ensuring Thai courts recognize and compensate for mental harm. Numbers show our scale, but the true heartbeat of justice lives in a changed life. Kamon’s story perfectly shows this impact. Her case highlights how we use advanced technology to fight predators, deliver real justice, and bring back the educational future she always dreamed of..
Kamon’s Story: From Exploitation to Education
Kamon was only 14 years old when she left her ethnic minority village. She had a simple dream: an education. In the big city, she shared a small room and worked tirelessly. She did daily labor. She sold goods online. She was not just surviving; she was fighting to finish middle school. Then, her online sales stopped. Rent piled up. Desperation set in.
Kamon searched online job boards and found an opening at a local spa. It promised good pay and training without a degree. It looked like a lifeline. It was a lie. The spa was a front for hidden prostitution. Her nightmare lasted for months. The trap was finally broken when Police Region 5 raided the venue, removing Kamon and other girls from danger. She was taken straight to a safe partner shelter.
Authorities requested LIFT's support due to the case's complexity. Our legal experts worked side-by-side with police to build an airtight case. We uncovered a devastating truth: Kamon had been exploited more than 250 times. In court, our social workers stood as a stable pillar. When the trial got terrifying, we provided immediate psychosocial first aid to restore her safety. Kamon regained her composure and completed her testimony with a smile.
Justice was delivered. The court sentenced the spa owner to 16 years in prison and ordered 600,000 THB in direct compensation to Kamon. But court victory is just the first step. Today, Kamon has successfully reintegrated into her village, already putting her new vocational skills into practice. Having reclaimed her life, she is now preparing to start a new chapter of study, just as she once dreamed. She is entering a biblical leadership program, building deep strength in her faith. Her dream was interrupted, but thanks to your institutional support, Kamon is now the leader of her own future.
Your generous support of our technology and legal advocacy helps us find hidden predators and bring the next child out of the dark. Partner with LIFT today to power the heartbeat of justice.
