In 2018, the fund Mothers Union provided (110,274.79 euros) support to children and their families who are faced with oncological diseases in Lithuania. These donations were used to compensate medical treatment for children (fuel compensation) and financial support. Separate photos with added amounts. During the months of February - June 2019, the support and charity fund Mothers Union provided children with oncological diseases, in Lithuania support for 41836.35 euros. Provided: nursing care for 3362.00 eur, financial support for families for 12617.00 eur, treatment abroad 9778.28 eur, fuel compensation for trips to / from Santara clinics / Kaunas clinics to / from home 8347.73 eur, non-reimbursable medicines and medical devices for 1725.29 eur, food (dinner) for 1960.05 eur, clothes and items for 1029.00 eur, birthday gifts and educational toys for 3917.00 eur, the children's dreams campaign is given for 250.00 eur.
Families at the Vilnius University Santaros Children's Hospital and the Kaunas University of Health Sciences Hospital Kaunas Clinics are already celebrating the tradition of “Thursday-Pizza Day”.
During this period we celebrated and congratulated 83 children on their birthday. In such an effort to make children feel happy and thus morally relieve children of long days in wards.
We also had fun activities for children, where children enjoyed the entertainment provided by viduramziai.lt, handcraft lessons, climbed various clay items and participated in the Maxima LT shopping center event.
We wish patients and families to overcome this time-consuming and painful disease as quickly and easily as possible!
"Only thanks to the sacrifices, today and tomorrow is coming brighter," this is what the mothers say, whose sick children need great help. Happily, you are the simple and good people who sacrifice hard-working children and their families. Thanks to you, help becomes not only possible but also achievable. The road becomes straighter.
