Veronika is currently 18 years old and recently celebrated her birthday.
Maybe because the girl is older, unfortunately all the actions organized so far collect several thousand euros, and the girl will need at least 90 thousand for a normal prosthesis.
You need a good, modern, normal prosthesis, because the girl was a former professional athlete and with her level of optimism, she will definitely not stop her active lifestyle.
At the moment, the girl wears a temporary prosthesis provided by the state, which is not adapted to her personally, because of which she rubs her leg a little, but the girl still tries to move everywhere on her own.
He learned to walk (you can't even imagine how difficult and painful it is) with a leg prosthesis, passed the driving theory exam, played sports and enjoyed life.
Veronika lost her leg due to an oncological disease. Before the accident, the girl was a professional youth volleyball player.
It was extremely difficult treatment, leg amputation, lung surgery, rib fracture - all of this Veronika has survived in the past year.
Despite the serious illness and the life that changed it, Veronika remained one of the best students at the VGTU lyceum, she graduated from the eleventh grade of the VGTU lyceum without an eighth grade. Like her twin sister, both girls pursue serious studies and are already planning their future majors.
From the collected support, not only will a suitable prosthesis be purchased (they are selected by trying on several options), but professional rehabilitation will be provided on how to properly wear the prosthesis, how to move with it, what functions can and safely be performed.
