Parents are hopeful  to  their Children’s  Improvement

Shimanta is name of Cerebral palsy children and he is five (05) years old boy. Fathers name is Mr.Happy ahamed and Mothers name is Shima Akhter. Shimanta is only one child of their family. Shimanta lives with his parents in a remote village of Takimary under Dewangonj Upazilla district Jamalpur ,Bangladesh. Father is poor farmer and Mother is a house wife. After their marriage of one year Shimanta comes their family and family are very excited with their son. In the meantime  One year going he is not stand and not seating properly Parents are very much feel tensions with their child because home is far distance from urban medical centre. Parents are not understand what are doing. Parents are illiterate and care less and not aware about their children treatment. Two years passing no treatment and neglected due to their distances from urban and father not agreed to carry him for treatment. As a result he is not accesses to rehabilitation from medical Centre. Mothers and also fathers are suffers from inferiority complex.

In the year of 2015 our Organization rehabilitation team members are identify to shimanta and Diagnosis, Assessments for Rehabilitation. We are addressing and Plan to Provide home based therapy services once a week. Our Staff member rehabilitation worker visit and follow up to their house and given services for his improvement beside our Rehabilitation technician provide hand to hand training to mother for her children management in home. Our team member given counselling and motivation to his parents for care to children. Now Shimanta is stand with support and can control his neck, reduce spasticity after medicine support and facial exercise. Our team member are conducting courtyard meeting with their neighboring on disabilities issues.

Parents are happy for providing services to him. Parents are Explain-“We were unknown about our children problems, Presently our children gradually improvement, We are free from money expenses.“ Proships team members and also family members believes if the services are continued up to three years Children will improve and lead quality life physically and emotionally . Parents did not wants to money expenses due to financial constraint and also poverty. For their children improvement they appeals to organization continuation services and they think services will continue their poverty will reduce and money saving for family. Finally parents are hopeful for their children condition in near future.
