In response to the COVID-19 crisis, SRLC has launched many initiatives in the US and India to help those who have lost their jobs - health care workers, migrant workers, daily wagers, stranded animals, and anyone affected by the crisis. While it may not change the whole world, it surely will change someone's whole world, and as a part of a global family, such an impact goes a long way.
As the entire world has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of cases and deaths in India and the USA continue to rise. Hunger and malnutrition are rampant, especially amongst daily wagers and migrant workers in India. The shortage of daily food is causing deaths on a daily basis. The shortage of PPE kits and medical supplies is limiting the ability of front liners to keep the population safe.
In response to the crisis in India, SRLC has launched a number of initiatives to help migrant workers, daily wagers, health care workers and front liners like policeman. SRLC volunteers across the nation are providing food, health kits and other necessary items to people in most need. With your one simple act of kindness, you can help SRLC provide for those who are in most need at this time of severe crisis.
The project will enable thousands of daily workers avoid hunger and malnutrition in this period of crisis, Healthcare workers will be able to serve patients successfully. As a result, these daily workers will be able to successfully fight poverty and become active members of society in future. Healthcare workers will save lives that will bring joy to their families.
