By Ayala Alimova | Project Leader
Dear friends and supporters,
Our project “Help Newborns Preserve Their Vision in Kazakhstan” is progressing steadily, although a bit slower than we initially expected. At the moment, our trusted supplier in Kazakhstan is facing temporary internal issues with the availability of the medicine Lucentis.
We stay in regular contact with them every week and closely monitor the situation. According to the latest information, the supply is expected to resume by December 2025.
We are sincerely grateful for your continued support and faith in our mission. Thanks to your generosity, we are fully prepared to proceed with the next treatment phase as soon as the medicine becomes available.
The Regional Hospital of Karaganda and the Regional Perinatal Center of Kokshetau will be the first beneficiaries to receive Lucentis, ensuring that newborns in these regions get the ophthalmologic care they urgently need.
Thank you for being part of our journey to protect the sight and the future of the youngest patients.
With gratitude,
AYALA Charity Foundation Team
