Dear Donors,
Thank you for caring about families affected by the humanitarian crisis in Northern Nigeria.
For a mother living in a displaced community, difficult choices can come every day.
Should she use the little money she has to buy food?
Should she save it for medicine if one of her children becomes sick?
Should she buy water?
What happens when there is not enough for all three?
Conflict, displacement, hunger and rising prices have left many Nigerian families with very few choices.
Children are among those who face the greatest risk when food becomes scarce. Pregnant women need proper nutrition and medical care. Older people and people with disabilities may face additional difficulties when healthcare and basic supplies are difficult to reach.
At the same time, humanitarian funding cuts have reduced assistance available to communities already facing serious needs.
This project will support emergency food, clean water, healthcare, medicines, hygiene supplies and protection services for families affected by the crisis.
Mobile healthcare teams will also travel to communities and displacement camps to provide medical care and nutrition support.
No parent should have to decide which basic need their family can afford to go without.
Your support can help families receive food, water and medical care when they need it most.
Thank you for standing with them.
Please share this project so more people can learn about the crisis facing vulnerable families in Nigeria.
With gratitude,
Sipho D. Mfanekiso
