Dear Donors,
Thank you for remembering Nigerians living through conflict and displacement.
We hear numbers every day.
Millions facing hunger.
Millions displaced.
Thousands affected by violence.
Millions needing humanitarian assistance.
But behind every number is a person.
A child waiting for food.
A pregnant woman who needs medical care.
An older man who needs his medicine.
A family searching for clean water.
A parent trying to protect their children after losing their home.
Northern Nigeria is facing the combined effects of conflict, armed attacks, displacement, hunger, disease outbreaks, floods and rising food prices. At the same time, cuts in international humanitarian assistance have made it harder for many families to receive the help they need.
This project was created for those families.
Clarion Times Foundation plans to provide emergency food, clean drinking water, healthcare, medicines and hygiene supplies. Mobile healthcare teams will reach communities and displacement camps where people have limited access to medical services.
Children and families facing severe hunger will also receive nutrition support.
Behind every statistic is a human life that matters.
Thank you for helping us keep these families in view and for standing with people who have been affected by circumstances beyond their control.
Please share this project with your community and help spread the word.
With gratitude,
Sipho D. Mfanekiso
