This project will renew the ultrasound equipment at UPFN's Women's Health Center in Niger. The existing machine is aging and no longer provides reliable results. By replacing it with a modern device, we will continue to offer essential prenatal and reproductive health services to more than 2,400 women and girls. Alongside healthcare, we provide leadership mentoring. Your support ensures that every woman can access safe, high-quality care and the chance to live a healthy, dignified life.
In Niger, many expectant mothers cannot access even basic prenatal care. Too often, what should be a joyful journey to motherhood becomes a struggle for survival. At the UPFN Women's Center, for 30 years, we have provided women and girls with access to safe spaces, vocational training and essential health services. But today, our medical equipment-especially our ultrasound machine-is reaching the end of its life. Without it, thousands of women could lose access to life-saving care.
We are renewing vital medical equipment-like an ultrasound machine-to strengthen our women's health center. With upgraded tools, our team of midwives and health professionals can deliver better prenatal care, reproductive health services, and nutrition programs. Alongside healthcare, we provide leadership mentoring, literacy and entrepreneurship training, and safe spaces for women to learn and grow. This holistic approach ensures that every woman can live a healthy, empowered life.
Renewing this essential equipment will allow UPFN to provide accurate, safe healthcare for years to come.Each ultrasound can prevent tragedy and offer peace of mind to mothers-to-be. By improving access to quality care, we strengthen women's health, reduce maternal mortality, and help build stronger, more resilient communities across Niger. The impact of this project will continue for generations, as healthy and empowered women become leaders, mentors, and agents of change in their communities.
