The E-learning platform was launched in November of last year to train our Volunteers. We have trained 150 Volunteers on the platform so far.
Since November of last year, we have had 176 people apply to volunteer with us.
At Christmas time we celebrated our Volunteers with a Christmas themed Coffee morning. In January and February the Volunteering team travelled to Cork, Galway and Dublin for in person coffee mornings to meet some of our Volunteers and get feedback from them on their experiences.
We continued to partner with Corporate companies to run Getting Started classes with them. Below is a quote from one learner about doing the Getting Started programme with one of our Corporate Partners:
It was a fabulous experience, the staff there were so friendly it was like being in a five star hotel, it was a very inspirational and uplifting experience and the group was really lovely.
