Dear Project Supporters,
Your continued support of students in Cameroon is greatly appreciated. Collette Bekaku, Founder/Executive Director CAPEC Cameroon partnered with her church, the United Methodist Women Association Cameroon – UMWAC and Develop Africa to create a project called “One child, one pencil” to collect and ship school supplies to students in Cameroon.
The shipping was covered by generous donors like you. Thanks to your support, school supplies including exercise books, pen, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, bookbinders, pencil case, and school bags were shipped in drums to Cameroon. They were then distributed to 6 schools by the UMWAC and Collette. You can see more photos in this photo album of the distribution- https://developafrica.smugmug.com/Students-in-Cameroon-Receive-School-Supplies/
Your support is truly making a difference for students in Cameroon. You can make your impact go even further by starting a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy & The Develop Africa Team
