Help Pay for Travel Expenses of Cancer Patients

Dear Supporters,
We are grateful for the continued support toward our Help Pay for Travel Expenses of Cancer Patients project. Many cancer patients in Ghana must travel long distances to access chemotherapy, radiotherapy, laboratory tests, and specialist consultations. For families already burdened with medical bills, transportation costs can become overwhelming and may result in missed or delayed treatment appointments.
Thanks to the donations received so far, we have been able to assist patients with transport support, helping them attend critical hospital visits and continue their treatment schedules. While the need remains significant, each contribution is directly removing a barrier to care and giving patients a better chance at recovery.
We sincerely appreciate your generosity and commitment. Together, we are ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent patients from accessing life-saving treatment.

Help Pay for Travel Expenses of Cancer Patients

Traveling to treatment centers is a major challenge for many cancer patients in Ghana, particularly children and families from rural areas. Many miss critical appointments or forgo treatment entirely due to the high cost of transportation.
Through this project, Adjah Cancer Support Ghana aims to provide financial assistance to cover travel expenses, ensuring that patients can reach hospitals and clinics for timely treatment. While we are still working to raise sufficient funds, we have already begun identifying patients in urgent need of support, documenting their travel requirements, and planning how best to assist them once donations are received.
We remain committed to making treatment accessible and reducing the burden on families. Every donation can help a patient get to the care they desperately need.
