Many pregnant women in Ghana face life-threatening complications during pregnancy and childbirth but cannot afford urgent medical care. This project provides financial, transportation, and medical support to ensure women can access life-saving treatment and safe deliveries.
Complications such as hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, infections, and obstructed labor can be fatal if not treated promptly. Women in rural or low-income communities often delay care due to cost, distance, or lack of resources, leading to preventable deaths and long-term health issues for both mother and baby.
By removing financial and logistical barriers, this project ensures pregnant women can access life-saving care during emergencies. Immediate support reduces delays, prevents complications, and improves survival for both mothers and babies.
This project will decrease maternal and newborn deaths, improve health outcomes, and strengthen trust in healthcare services. Over time, it will create safer pregnancies, healthier families, and stronger communities across Ghana.
