Our community has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and, as a response, we are providing free pre hospital emergency services to those who are suffering complications from this condition. We are committed to provide these services by implementing the highest safety standards for both, our paramedics and patients.
COVID-19 is a highly contagious virus that has quickly spread in our community, the lack of vaccines for health care professional and the majority of the population in Mexico represent a challenge. We have to continue providing pre hospital emergency services to those who need it. The slow distribution of the vaccine in Mexico, which is still not available for our paramedics, means that they have to continue wearing all the personal protective equipment to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This project seeks to cover the cost of acquiring all the personal protective equipment necessary to keep our paramedics safe, while providing emergency care to those in need. In order to provide our ambulance services, we follow all the protocols and use new personal protective equipment every time an emergency service is being provided.
Wearing personal protective equipment means that the chances of contracting the virus are lowered. It is a priority for us to continue providing our emergency services to the community in a safe manner, taking all the necessary precautions put in place by international organizations, and protecting the health care heroes that every day put their lives on the line to protect the wellbeing of the community.
