A child is a child no matter what and deserves a childhood, to be free, explore and learn.
The circumstances in Ukraine remain the same and children continue to live in fear.
Together with our partners we are working to make sure children have the basics like food to survive, cloths to wear, a toy, some treats, a notebook to write, colours to paint.
Our partner Children Hearts organized Summer Camps for vulnerable children. They had the chance to play in the swimming pool while some children learned how to swim.
They played games, participated in competitions, and enjoyed their time there. New friendships were formed and new experiences. The children enjoyed cooking lessons and had a chance to create their own dish.
It is beautiful to see that the children had a great time at the Summer Camp. Their families cannot afford the basics, let alone some time away from home, the Summer Camps gives them something to look forward to, it’s a small break from the daily reality of war.
