AIL’s reproductive health workshops continue to be popular and so far in 2015 there have been 3 workshops for 100 women. These women learn about their bodies and the process of pregnancy and birth and how to care for infants and much more.
Suhaila says: Studying at this AIL Learning Center I saw that AIL is a big supporter of young girls’ education. I was able to participate in a Reproductive Health workshop put on by AIL last year. I learned lots of things about health not only reproductive matters but also environmental health and prevention of disease. I shared all those things which I learned from this workshop with my friends. I am really thankful for the AIL office. I was an illiterate girl and I didn’t know anything regarding health but now I know lots of things.
Having information changes lives and empowers women to care for themselves and reduce their risk level.
Thank you for your interest in Afghan women’s health issues.
