This project is to renovate and expand habitats for rescued monkeys. The structures in Monkey Village have provided a safe and secure home for several years. However, it is time to make necessary improvements and expand existing structures to provide the best home possible to these deserving primates. The majority of these primates were rescued from one of the worst animal hoarding cases ever witnessed in Arizona.
The structures in Monkey Village have provided a safe and secure home to rescued primates for several years. However, we need to renovate and expand existing structures to provide the best home possible for these deserving primates.
The renovation and expansion project will provide the primates with much needed space for exercise, foraging opportunities, and a provide a more natural and enriched landscape including trees. The restructuring will also allow for more social interaction and communication between the groups.
Keepers of the Wild is their life-long home. It is an investment into the lives of 14 primate residents and for future primates in need of rescue.
