We completed the expansion phase of four habitats in Monkey Village. The roof panels were removed from the top of each enclosure and used to increase the size of each habitat. Every habitat was doubled in size and topped with a metal roof. We added branches, shelves, hammocks, swings, toys and enrichment devices.
The final stage is to build new habitats for our four New World monkeys. The last photo is the building site that we have cleared for the new construction.
