Dear All,
The Zartnir team is grateful for all the support received thanks to your valuable donations that enabled our growth in the second half of 2023.
Operations
In September-December 2023, we focused on continuing reading clubs in schools already enrolled in the program and engaging new ones. As part of the partnership with Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine, we increased the number of schools in the Syunik region of Armenia, one of the most affected regions after escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
As of December 31, 118 reading clubs in 95 schools are enrolled in Zartnir across Armenia. We will continue to enroll more schools in 2024.
Funding
Zartnir received the biggest donation from the "Bridge to Armenia" foundation—a 2.5x increase compared to the previous donation. That allows us to enroll 2,500 school students.
Among other donors are—DiVine&Partners, ZCMC (the biggest taxpayer in Armenia), ArLeAM, reArmenia, private individuals from GlobalGiving, Benevity, and Patreon.
We thank you for your support that makes it possible to change educational landscape in Armenia.
Kind regards,
Zartnir Team
