Children may be a small part of Nigeria's population, but they are a big part of our future. They ARE our future. Children are born ready to learn, but too many of Nigeria's children are living in desperate situations, poverty and malnutrition. Because of circumstances beyond their control, millions never reach their full potential.
CYNBI began with a multi-focused agenda. One important target is nutrition. Reports warn that children who do not receive the proper nutrition in the first two years of life, experience lasting damage. They will be tormented by poor health and limited intelligence. We must not turn a blind eye to the suffering children of Nigeria. It is imperative that our children are nurtured and supported. Help them break through the barriers that have held them down.
CYNBI provides nutrition, medicine, and health care to starving children. The children's mothers are trained in nutrition and child care. The mothers are also taught to share their new knowledge with their neighbor.
The project will educate 100 women and children allowing them to rise out of the poverty, which will provide for their families health and well being.
