Meeting of Women Self Help Groups at Ezhil Nagar, Puducherry

On Saturday the 19th of March 2022, a group of 15 women from Ezhil Nagar gathered at Prime Trust to form a Self Help group. A meeting was organized by Mr. Arul Joseph, Program Manager, and Mrs. Nathali, Secretary and they explained the rules and regulations with regard to the formation and running of the group. The women named the SHG as Akshaya-Shri Nivedha Self Help Group. Mrs. Devaki was unanimously selected as their President and the Secretary would be selected soon. They have decided to save Rs.300/- as their monthly saving.

 Meeting of Women Self Help Groups at Solai Nagar, Puducherry

On Saturday the 19 of March 2022, a group of 12 women from Solai Nagar gathered at Solai Nagar Evening School to form a Self Help group. A meeting was organized by Mr. Arul Joseph, Program Manager, and Mrs. Nathali, Secretary and they explained the rules and regulations with regard to the formation and running of the group. The women named the SHG as Akshaya-Punnagai Pookal Self Help. Group. Mrs. Gayathri was unanimously selected as President and Mrs. Sulochana as the Secretary. They have decided to save Rs.500/- as their monthly saving.

 Awareness Generation Program

The women groups were offered awareness generation on women's rights, child rights, domestic violence, consumer awareness, health and hygiene, HIV/AIDS, and vitamin deficiency.

 This program was organized by Mr. Arul Joseph, Program Manager, and Mrs. Nathali Raja, Secretary.
