Hello friends of Prime Trust,
A few months ago, Prime Trust opened the Akshaya Store with the support of partner organizations HAMAP Humanitaire, Legallais Foundation de entreprise, Raja Foundation and Societe des Membres De La Legion D'Honneur. This store will be selling the products made by women from the already established self-help groups.
Prime Trust supports the women start small businesses by helping them acquire small loans from the local banks at low interest rates. These loans are disbursed to the women in the self-help groups to use as they please. Some use it to pay for their home expenses, while some women start small enterprises of their own. Given the products that are currently being sold at the Akshaya store, we really do have some talented women!!
Currently, we are in the process of building an online store that sells these products at an international level. We are also educating the women on what it means to start, sustain and profit from a small business. These classes are conducted by international volunteers who are educated and are experienced in business. Additionally, we are also helping the women by starting saving accounts and teaching them financial management.
Through your continued support, we will be able to expand our efforts and help more women achieve their goals of becoming successful small business owners!
