Distribution of Sewing Machines to the unemployed women
Through our donors from GlobalGiving, we were able to help women to have a Sewing machine on their own making them earn money that would support their families.
In the patriarchal society, women will be depending on their spouse for everything. She will be completely dependent on him to meet the family expenditure. She is not in a position to make her own decision. By making a woman earn, the family gets the additional income that would support the children and other needs of the family.
By providing sewing machines, she can stitch dresses for herself and for her children, and also she will be paid for the work done for her neighbors. The free training offered by us will help her to do her work in a professional way.
