This project empowers 150 vulnerable girls with digital and vocational skills while educating 300 parents and community leaders on the dangers of early marriage. Through advocacy, training, and family support, we help girls stay in school and secure a safer, brighter future.
Across many communities in Nigeria, child and forced marriage continues to deny thousands of girls their right to childhood, education, safety, and dignity. Poverty, cultural pressure, and lack of awareness push families into marrying off girls as young as 13. These girls face devastating consequences: school dropout, domestic abuse, health complications, and lifelong economic dependency. Without intervention, many more girls will lose their future before it even begins.
This project is a targeted program to reduce early marriage by combining advocacy, skills development, and family support. We will tackle the root causes and give girls the tools they need to build stable, independent lives by empowering 150 adolescent girls with digital skills, vocational training, life skills, and financial literacy. Train 300 parents, caregivers, and community leaders on protecting girls and discouraging early marriage. Run a minimum of 12 community advocacy campaigns.
Your support helps girls avoid child marriage, stay in school, develop confidence, and learn income-earning skills that transform not just their lives but their entire community's future.
