We are excited to officially launch our project, “Stop Early Marriage: Empower 150 Girls with Advocacy & Skills in Nigeria.” But beyond the excitement, there is an urgent reality we must confront.

Every day in vulnerable communities across Northern  Nigeria, girls are being forced into early marriages—some as young as 13. These are not just statistics; they are real lives being interrupted, dreams being cut short, and futures being taken away. Without immediate intervention, many of these girls will never return to school or have the opportunity to build independent, dignified lives.

At Empower Future Initiative, we are fully prepared to act immediately once funding is secured.

Our Readiness to Act

We have already:

• Identified target communities where early marriage rates are high
• Developed a structured training curriculum for digital, vocational, and life skills
• Engaged local facilitators, community leaders, and volunteers ready to support implementation
• Designed advocacy strategies and outreach plans for immediate rollout

This means there will be no delay—as soon as funding begins, we will move directly into action.
