Darby has been trying to make her marriage work for years. As a military spouse she didn't want to see her husband lose his job. But the violence just kept getting worse and worse.
She called us from Bahrain asking us what her options are. We worked with Darby over the course of a couple of months. She asked her husband to go to counseling but he refused.
Darby felt she had no option but to flee Bahrain and go back to the USA. Darby is home now and grateful for your support. Here is part of an email she sent.
"I wished things were different. I still care for my husband very much. I hope one day he gets the help he needs."
