Linda has been communicating by email with a Pathways advocate for months. She loves her husband but cannot take his abuse. Linda's husband is in the military and she is an accompanying spouse overseas. She has been concerned that her husband will be in a lot of trouble if she reports the violence.
Over time, Linda decided that she wanted to come home to the USA so she can be safe without compromising her husband's military career.
We honor the very difficult decision Linda had to make for herself. She is back at home and considering what her next steps will be.
Without your donations we would not be able to take the weeks and months of time necessary to help a victim navigate the decisions that are best for them in their situations.
