Thanks to all of you we've been able to provide medicines, equipment, medical supplies, food, nappies, blankets and clothing to patients and families in hospice and palliative care in Ukraine affected by the war. These are the sickest people in any country. We're continuing to provide supplies but we now are in dire need to help train more health professionals to meet the growing need. Many of the doctors and nurses and counselors that care for hospice patients have had to join the military forces and some have been killed. This leaves the facilities short of trained health care workers, so we are appealing for your help to train more staff and volunteers working to care for seriously ill patients and their families. Training is not free and requires time, space, logistics, and materials. Our partner the All-Ukrainian Hospice Palliative Care Association is ready to carry out the training. The war has dragged on and has been so very stressful for those who give their most every day. Please be generous and send your support!
